My name is Ashley Baillie, a live wedding painter based out of Monterey, CA, and I would love the opportunity to paint for your wedding day. When you get a painting from me, you’re receiving a timeless piece of art that captures the beauty of your special day. You are gifting an artistic experience for guests during your celebration, and getting a magical moment memorialized in paint and canvas to cherish for years to come.

My goal is to always produce a realistic, lively painting that showcases each couple's unique characteristics and style choices. I want your family and friends to be able to say, "That looks just like them!" This level of realism and capturing details does take time, but I guarantee that the results are worth the (12-16 weeks) wait!

I grew up in Union City, CA (S.F. Bay Area) and started showing an early love for art when I was about 4 years old. I would copy photos from drawing books my mom and I found at local art stores, which only enhanced my blooming skills. Most of my free time as a child was spent on sketching, and I reveled in every opportunity to draw for homework assignments. I began painting seriously when I reached high school, and continued on to earn my minor in studio art alongside my B.A. for environmental studies in 2021.

As part of my post-graduate contracted work with the Watershed Stewards Program (in partnership with the California Conservation Corps) in 2022, I designed and led the 4th grade class of Prunedale Elementary in painting (by numbers) their own mural of Elkhorn Slough. In early 2024, I completed a solo mural project for a gym in Seaside, CA, producing a 10x10 ft custom, high-quality mural.
